St. Mary's Parish Information:

Information on First Reconciliation and First Communion:
Early in January all students in grade 2 and above were given letters about First Communion and First Reconciliation to bring home.  If you did not receive them please check St. Mary’s Parish website and copies of the letters are there.
 
First Reconciliation Parent Meeting:
There is a parent meeting for all parents (without children if possible) regarding the sacrament of Reconciliation (confession) on Wednesday, February 1st at 7:30 pm in the church proper.  You are invited to attend the 7:00 pm Mass if you can before the meeting.  There is no need to call to confirm your attendance.  We look forward to having a meeting of about 45 minutes to discuss this sacrament.
 
Baptism Program for Children Aged 7 and Above:
The parish offers a simple program on Sunday mornings over six weeks for children aged 7 and above to prepared for baptism.  When the program is complete, these older children are all baptized together.  If they have younger siblings they are welcome to receive the sacrament at the same time.  It is important that you call the parish soon as this process will begin in the later part of February.

Grade 8 Parents: Option Sheets
A reminder to parents of grade 8 students.  Option sheets for JOA are due back at the school as soon as possible.  A representative from guidance will be coming to the school to help the students enter their course information on-line.   If you are not sending your child to JOA, you should be contacting the secondary school of your choice in order to complete course information.

Home Alone/ Babysitting Course

Pizza/ Milk/  and Lunch Lady/ Pitas
A reminder that for pizza, if there is a snow day, the pizza will be delivered on the next day. This is the same for Pitas!   For Lunch Lady, parents need to call the company to cancel meals if their child will not be attending school that day.
