Week of December 4th
Published on Dec 3, 2017 20:16

Good evening,

Today marks the first Sunday of Advent.  During the Advent season we focus on four very important virtues that Jesus brings us: Hope, Love, Joy and Peace.  As we prepare ourselves for this spiritual journey, in anticipation and hope for the coming of Christ again in our lives, may we be witnesses to Christ's presence by bringing hope to others.  Beginning this week we will have Spirit Days to encourage participation in our Christmas Cheer Drive.

Next Tuesday, December 12th we will be hosting The Good Shepherd Christmas Concert.  Please note seating is very limited and we must respect the fire code.  If you and/or other family members are planning to attend and will be home during the day, we encourage you to come for the afternoon performance.  The evening performance is for those who are at work during the day and are unable to attend the afternoon performance.  For those coming in the afternoon, we are going to have the regular dismissal of our students at the end of the day.  If we were to allow signing out of students, there would be extreme congestion at the office and possibly a very unsafe situation.

Lastly, thank you to Mrs. MacDonald for all her work behind the scenes getting the movie night for our students up and running.  It was a huge success. Thank you to our CSCC members for their assistance as well, for many hands make light work.
