Hi Everyone,

I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend.  

All staff at the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board participated in a Board-wide Faith Day on Friday.  Staff from our school completed "Acts of Mercy" on Friday afternoon.  These Acts included; gardening at our school, raking mulch, tidying up the kindergarten yard, cooking and baking for community shelters and agencies.  We are blessed to be given the opportunity to live out the Gospel in helping others at our school and in our community.

Thanks to all of our families who came out to our OPEN HOUSE on Thursday night.  It's a great way to start our school year and to meet everyone.  If you were unable to attend, please be sure to get in contact with your child's teacher to arrange a time to meet.  Establishing a relationship early on in the year will ensure continued success for your child.  Thanks to the many wonderful parent volunteers who were able to generously give their time to help with many aspects of our Open House.  It truly takes a village, and we are blessed at The Good Shepherd!
