Good evening,
The CSCC would like to thank all the parents who came to listen to Dr. Kayrn Gordon speak at our school last Monday. She was inspirational as well as motivational. Her practical and logical approach to parenting and raising our children in an age of "over-indulgence" was refreshing.
There was also an excellent turnout at the Edge program on Friday night, with 84 children attending between the grades of 5 and 8. A special thank you from St. Mary's Youth Ministry.
Please note that with Halloween being on a Tuesday, we ask you to monitor the snacks your child brings to school from their trick or treating bag, we are a peanut/nut free school. Also, if lunches are filled with multiple candies, the high sugar content will result in your child getting extremely tired in the middle of the day, thus affecting their learning. Please try to balance their lunches/snacks as much as possible. Your child and the staff of The Good Shepherd thank you in advance.

Tuesday, October 31st
- Halloween Dance - all grades/divisions will have a scheduled time slot
- Students are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to support those in need in our community
Wednesday, November 1st
- Grade 8s to attend orientation day at St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School
Friday, November 3rd
- Sololunch (online ordering system) will reopen again for one week
- you will be ordering for November 20th - December 22nd.
